A year ago we embarked on our own Cuidiú-led training programme for a dozen new antenatal teachers from all over Ireland. We now have four new students added to that training with plans to recruit more next year.

Training takes place in Dublin once a month over a day during a weekend. By taking control of the training ourselves, the information we teach is tailored specifically towards Irish antenatal teachers. Prior to taking ownership of the Antenatal Diploma, trainees were taught by the NCT in the UK.
